I’m Outta Control and Loving It!

man trusting himself to jump off a cliff

If you took a look at my life over the past couple years, you’d probably say something like, “OMG! Are you okay?!”

And my response? “HECK YES! And also, WHAT JUST HAPPENED?!”

See, I was born with this built-in radar for what feels good—not in the fleeting, instant-gratification way, but in the deep, soul-nourishing, oh-this-is-my-path kinda way. And let me tell you, following that inner GPS has led me through some wild terrain.

A couple years ago, I made some of the hardest (and best) decisions of my life. I ended a 7-year marriage. I walked away from a stable job of 6 years. And let me be real with you—it was freaking hard. Like, ugly crying in the car, questioning-everything, doubting-my-own-sanity hard.

But here’s why I’m sharing this with you: because I know I’m not the only one who has felt trapped in a life that no longer fits.

If you’re feeling that nudge, that pull, that little (or loud) voice telling you that something needs to change, listen up—because your heart already knows the way. And if you don’t listen? Oh, trust me, your body will start screaming at you instead.

We are not meant to live in chronic misery. Sure, life gets tough sometimes—but if you wake up every day feeling drained, uninspired, or straight-up miserable, that’s your soul waving a giant red flag.

Listen to your heart.
Listen to your body.
Listen to your inner voice.

You know the one—the voice that whispers about your dreams, nudges you toward what excites you, and makes you feel alive. Yeah, that one. But most people aren’t listening to that voice. They’re listening to their head voice. And the head voice? It’s LOUD. It’s logical. It’s filled with excuses:

“But what about the kids?”
“But what about the house?”
“But what about my money, my security, my whole entire life as I know it?!”

Yeah, I hear you. I told myself all those things too. But here’s the truth:

Your kids will be okay if they see you happy.
Your house is just a building; you create your home.
Your security isn’t in a paycheck; it’s in your ability to create and trust in something bigger than yourself.

So, my friend, what if you are meant for more?

What if the universe is literally waiting for you to let go of what no longer serves you so it can deliver something beyond your wildest dreams?

I’m here to tell you—IT WILL. But only when you stop clinging to what’s safe out of fear of the unknown. You can’t step into the next, better chapter of your life while gripping onto the last one with white knuckles.

And let me break some news to you: YOU CANNOT CHANGE OTHER PEOPLE.
(Yeah, I know, I tried.)

The only person you can shift, transform, and heal is yourself. And when you do? That’s when Spirit steps in, when doors start opening, when life aligns in ways you couldn’t have imagined.

I am living proof. After letting go of what was no longer in alignment with me, the universe stripped me down to the essentials. And what happened next? Everything clicked into place.

I now live in a home in Southern California that is beyond what I could have ever dreamed of. I have the best friends, a strong, supportive community, and a career that fulfills my soul. And the best part? I get to travel the world with my son, showing him different cultures, teaching him how expansive and beautiful life truly is.

Did it require risk? Yep. Did I have to let go of my old identity and trust in the unknown? Oh, you bet.

But here’s what I’ve learned:

When you align with your truth, the universe will have your back. Always.

So, if you’re sitting there feeling stuck, miserable, or like you’re in a life that doesn’t quite fit anymore, I have one question for you:

What would happen if you actually let go?

Not just in theory, not just someday—but for real.

What if you stopped trying to control everything and just trusted?

I know—trust isn’t easy when you’ve spent your whole life relying on logic, planning, and “being responsible.” But trust isn’t about reckless abandonment; it’s about listening to that deeper, wiser part of yourself that already knows what you need to do next.

If you don’t know how to trust, that’s okay. That’s what I help people do. I help people connect to their soul, clear out the subconscious blocks, and finally start living in alignment with their true path.

And listen, learning to trust doesn’t mean you have to quit your job, leave your marriage, or move across the country (unless, of course, your soul is screaming for that). Sometimes, it just means making small shifts that bring you back to you.

So, if you feel like life is nudging (or shoving) you toward something new, don’t ignore it. Trust. Leap. Let go. And watch what happens when you finally stop gripping onto control and start allowing what’s meant for you to come in.

I promise, it’s better than you can imagine.
