I didn’t always believe in spirit.
In fact, when I first walked into a mediumship workshop at 18 years old, I was more curious than convinced. I had questions. I was skeptical. But I was also open—and that mattered more than anything.
The teacher that day was a British medium named Iris Hall. What struck me about her wasn’t just her ability to communicate with the spirit world. It was how she taught—with so much love. She wasn’t flashy or dramatic. She was grounded, humble, and led from the heart. And that changed everything for me.
Since then, my path has taken me deep into the world of intuitive development and mediumship, not just as a student, but now as a teacher. And if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s this: your gifts don’t grow in a vacuum. They grow in safe, nurturing spaces—ideally surrounded by others who are just as curious as you are.
That’s why I believe development circles and mediumship training courses are so important.
Mediumship is a Journey—Not a Performance
When people first explore their intuitive or mediumistic gifts, they often feel pressure to “get it right.” But this work isn’t about perfection. It’s about connection. It’s about cultivating a relationship with your own soul, and from that place, building trust with the spirit world.
The truth is, all mediums are psychic, but not all psychics are mediums.
Psychic work is when you read energy from the soul of a living person. It’s beautiful, helpful, and deeply insightful. But mediumship takes it a step further. In mediumship, you’re not just reading energy. You’re blending with it. You’re letting a discarnate spirit move into your space, mind to mind, soul to soul. You feel them with you. You let their story come through, on their terms.
This is something we can train, but not force. It’s not something you go hunting for with your brain. In fact, the more your thinking mind gets involved, the harder it is to truly receive. That’s one of the biggest mistakes I see people make—they try to look for the information instead of feel it. Mediumship happens when you allow, not when you push.
A Soulful Approach to Mediumship
That’s why I created my upcoming course, Foundations of Soulful Mediumship.
I wanted to build a space where people feel safe to explore their gifts—without judgment, pressure, or fear of getting it wrong. Because there is no “wrong” when you’re tuning into the intelligence of the spirit world. There is only learning and refining. My course teaches the fundamentals of evidential mediumship, yes, but more importantly, it’s about awakening your soul. And when you know your own soul well, you can begin to feel the presence of another’s—whether they’re in a body or not.
You’ll learn the difference between psychic and mediumistic work, how to sit in your power, how to blend with spirit, and how to listen for the subtle, loving communication that’s always available when you create space for it.
But whether you join this course or not, my hope is that you stay open. Follow your curiosity. Trust that if you’re drawn to mediumship, there’s a reason. You don’t need to have it all figured out. You just need to start.
Why Personal Growth and Mediumship Go Hand in Hand
What many people don’t realize is that this work is just as much about healing yourself as it is about helping others.
The more you work with spirit, the more you work with your own spirit. Mediumship calls us to go inward—to face our fears, to strengthen our trust, and to soften into vulnerability. The stronger your connection with your own soul, the clearer your connection will be with others, including those in spirit.
Because ultimately, this isn’t just about information. It’s about love. Spirit communicates through love. Always! When we get out of the way and let them speak for themselves, that’s when the real magic happens. That’s when the room shifts. That’s when healing flows.
